Description

  • A Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) 1800KV motor is an electronically commutated motor that operates without brushes, making it highly efficient, reliable, and durable. The 1800KV rating means the motor can theoretically rotate at 1800 RPM per volt with no mechanical load. For example, when powered by an 11.1 V (3S LiPo) battery, its theoretical no-load speed is about 19,980 RPM (1800 × 11.1). Under actual operating conditions, the speed is lower because of the load from a propeller or other mechanism. Compared with a 1400KV motor, an 1800KV motor provides higher speed but generally lower torque, making it suitable for lightweight, high-speed applications.
